Specialty Products & Manufacturing was formed in 1982 and started machining lock tumbler pins in a small, 1,200 square foot facility located in Milldale, Connecticut.
In 1984, Dave Randall purchased the company and expanded their manufacturing capacity and capabilities by utilizing a line of Escomatic Swiss Screw Machines.
In 1997, Specialty Products & Manufacturing constructed a new facility in Southington, Connecticut and invested in increasing their line of Escomatic Swiss Screw machines.
Today, Specialty Products & Manufacturing produces lock pins, lock pin kits and small precision parts for leading lock brands. They also provide precision parts to a variety of companies and manufacturers that service other industries.
